BENGALURU: Supply of Nandini brank of milk was affected in some parts of the city on Friday after a technical glitch at the Bangalore Milk Union Limited (Bamul).

Milk supply will be affected on March 3 and 4 in many parts of the city. For the last two days, many parts of the city have not been getting milk because the distribution was not done properly due to a technical glitch. The officials are not getting data on milk being loaded into milk carts every day. As the data is not available, the authorities are struggling to load the vehicles.

The vehicles have to be loaded and sent based on the route taken by the vehicle on the previous day. Due to this, the loading of the vehicles is slow and it is not possible to reach the customers in time. The problem is likely to continue for the next two days. The officials are trying to fix the glitch at Bamul, and a team of experts from Hyderabad is expected to arrive soon and rectify the problem.

Narasimhamurthy, the president of Bamul.

“We supply milk based on the data in the computer systems. We have ERP software to manage day-to-day business activities. There is some technical glitch in the software, so the loading of milk is getting affected. An expert team from Hyderabad will be arriving soon and the problem will be resolved”, said Narasimhamurthy, president of Bamul.
