Metro services on Green Line to be affected for 3 days from today

BENGALUR: There will be changes in Namma  Metro services timings between Peenya Industry and Nagasandra on the Green Line for three days from August 13 to 15, the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) announced on Tuesday.

Metro services will be affected due to signaling tests on the extended route from Nagasandra to Madavara on the Green Line. There will be changes in the train timings between Peenya Industrial Area and Nagasandra metro stations, as per a BMRCL release. The Metro Chief Public Relations Officer has requested the Metro passengers to plan their travel as per the scheduled timings.

In order to facilitate signalling-related tests for Reach-3 Extension Line from Nagasandra to Madavara (BIEC), Metro train services will be curtailed between Peenya Industry and Nagasandra metro stations as indicated below.

* On August 13, the last train service will be at 10 pm instead of 11 pm.

* On August 14, the first morning train service will be at 6 am instead of 5 am and the last train service will be at 10 pm instead of 11 pm

* On August 15, the first morning train service will be at 6 am instead of 5 am.

The last train service from Nagasandra on August 13 and 14 will be at 10 pm instead of 11.05 pm. The first train service from Nagasandra will start at 6 am instead of 5 am on August 14 and 15.

The last train service from Peenya Industry to Silk Institute Metro Stations on August 13 and 14 will be at 11.12 pm and the first train service from Peenya Industry to Silk Institute Metro Station will be at 5 am on these two days.

There is no changes in the metro services on the Purple Line. For the convenience of Metro travellers and public, the BMRCL is issuing Return Journey Paper tickets at a flat rate of Rs 30 on August 15-17 and 18th from Lalbagh Metro Station. The public may utilize this facility for hassle-free travel.
