BENGALURU: Metro services on the green line between Peenya Industry and Nagasandra stations was suspended today for signal testing on the extended line. Services will be suspended on September 6 and 11 also.
Services on the green line from Peenya to Majestic and on the purple line remain unaffected. On Friday, queues were formed at Peenya station to prevent crowding and announcements were made with public address systems.

Metro trains coming from Majestic were terminated at Peenya and service was suspended towards Dasarahalli, Jalahalli and Nagasandra. For the convenience of passengers, feeder buses were arranged.
The BMRCL authorities will be conducting signalling tests on the extended Nagasandra-Madavara elevated line, stretching 3.14 km on three days. Trial runs by running the trains at a minimum of 5 kmph and a maximum of 35 kmph have been conducted.
