Met Department issues yellow alert in Bengaluru, predicts moderate rainfall for two days

BENGALURU: The State Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for the city and has predicted light to moderate rain over south-interior Karnataka districts for two days.

On Monday night, several parts of the city experienced showers and the weather department has predicted that there is a possibility of rain in Chamarajanagar, Mandya, Mysuru and Bengaluru, as well as in parts of south-interior Karnataka on Tuesday too.

Since Tuesday morning, the weather has been cloudy and the weather department has announced an alert. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature has increased in coastal Karnataka and in the north-interior parts, and the weather is expected to be dry for two more days.
