KALABURAGI: A mentally disturbed woman was sexually assaulted by a man in Andola village of Jewargi taluk. The victim, a resident of Yadagir district, was undergoing treatment at a Hindu math in Andola village.
The accused, Chinnu Jamadar, allegedly took the woman to a field and sexually assaulted her. When another man, Hullesh Kasarbhosaga, arrived at the scene and started recording a video, Chinnu Jamadar requested him to let him go, saying it was a one-time mistake.
However, Hullesh later uploaded the video on his Facebook page, which went viral. The accused, Chinnu Jamadar, has gone into hiding since the video surfaced. The Jewargi police have registered a case and are investigating the matter. Locals have demanded for strict action against the accused.
