Medical students welcome freshers with loud music, dance on BRIMS hospital premises

The welcome for the freshers was held on the campus with loud music.

BIDAR: Medical students of the Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences (BRIMS) college and hospital created nuisance with loud music to welcome the new batch of students right on the hospital premises, on Wednesday.

The students were dancing to loud music on the hospital premises.

The event was organised as part of the ‘Kannada Kalotsava’ on the campus with DJ music playing and the students dancing on the campus unmindful of the patients in the hospital, drawing public outrage.

The welcome for the freshers was organised as part of the Kannada Kalotsava programme.

The hospital authorities and the college faculty did not react to the happenings on the campus though the hospital is a quiet zone, local residents pointed out.
