DAVANAGERE: The Channagiri taluk medical officer of the government hospital, Dr Rajappa, is battling for life after his SUV hit a tipper at Bukkabundi near Tavarakere in the taluk on Wednesday.
Dr Rajappa was returning after visiting his farm when the accident occurred. Due to the collision, he sustained serious head injuries. He was shifted to the Channagiri hospital by locals and the police. A case has been registered at the Channagiri police station.
