KOLAR: A woman, who had grown up in an orphanage and married an orphan, was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Kolar. The deceased has been identified as Nandini (24) from Thotli village in Kolar taluk. Her husband, Nagesh is the suspect in the murder.
The couple allegedly had a quarrel after Nagesh returned home drunk last night, and villagers suspect that he killed Nandini by slitting her throat. The rural police have taken Nagesh into custody and are investigating.
A post-mortem examination was conducted in the presence of Kolar Tahsildar Nayana, and a case has been registered while investigation is under way.
