KOLAR: A married woman and her boyfriend allegedly attacked her mother-in-law Ramanamma after she discovered their illicit relationship in Gummalapalli village, Srinivasapura taluk.
The daughter-in-law and her boyfriend Shashikumar have been arrested by the Rayalpadu police. Ramanamma is undergoing treatment in a hospital for serious injuries.
The woman, who hails from Andhra Pradesh, had married Manjunath Reddy of Gummalapalli village seven years ago. After marriage, she had an illicit relationship with Shashikumar.
Ramanamma recently found out about her daughter-in-law’s affair following which the latter and her boyfriend allegedly attacked her. The police are investigating the matter after registering a case.
