RAMANAGARA: A 35-year-old man was brutally murdered by smashing his head with a stone at Lalaghatta Circle in Channapatana on Friday night.
The deceased has been identified as Prasad, a resident of Ambedkar Layout in Channapatna city. The police suspect that the murder was due to old enmity.
The police visited the spot and a case has been registered at the Channapatana Rural police station. The body was sent to Channapatana Government Hospital for autopsy and further investigation is under way.
