MANGALURU: Fishermen from Mangaluru, who had ventured out deep into the sea, were pelted with stones near Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu.
About 7-8 boats from Mangaluru had set out for deep sea fishing, but they were surrounded and attacked with stone by more than 10 boats near Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. Though it was not immediately known when the incident occurred, a video of the attack has since gone viral.
The Tamil Nadu boats had stocked the stones and about 8-10 fishermen from Mangaluru have sustained injuries in the stone-pelting. Some of the boats also suffered damage.
