The Mandya police are preparing to issue a notice to Aishwarya Gowda.

MANDYA: The Mandya police are preparing to issue a notice to Aishwarya Gowda after a case of fraud was registered against her at the Mandya East police station. Aishwarya and her husband had already been arrested by the Bengaluru police for cheating jewellers to the tune of crores and secured bail from the high court.

As per the complaint lodged by Ravikumar and Poornima, Aishwarya had borrowed Rs 55 lakh from them about 7-8 years ago with the offer of high interest. However, she has neither paid the interest nor repaid the principal amout, the complaint said.

The Mandya police are now collecting evidence against Aishwarya Gowda and are preparing to issue her a notice to present herself for inquiry.
