BENGALURU: A woman has filed a complaint with the Ashok Nagar police station in Bengaluru, alleging that she was forced to drink excessively and mistreated by three managers of a prominent company at a New Year’s party at a pub on Brigade Road.

The incident allegedly occurred at the popular pub, where the woman had gone with two colleagues for a cigarette promotion event. The managers, Hemant, Puneet, and Ajit, allegedly forced her to drink excessively. When she refused to drink while on duty, they behaved inappropriately with her under the influence of liquor. Later, they dropped her off by the roadside in the middle of the night, she alleged.

A case has been registered against the three managers under Sections 75, 79, and 3(5) of the BNS Act, 2023.  The police have issued a notice to the accused, seeking clarification on the incident.
