BENGALURU: A reckless driver who crashed through a barricade during drunk driving on January 21 was arrested by Jalahalli traffic police. The incident occurred near Sahitya Koota Junction in Jalahalli police limits and the accused has been identified as Kiran (30).
Kiran, a resident of Vidyaranyapura, was driving under the influence of liquor when he crashed into the barricade, and fled the scene without stopping when police approached him for checking. He had even knocked down a two-wheeler while escaping.
The police identified the Tata Altroz car number and reviewed CCTV footage to apprehend Kiran, and a case was filed against him.
