HASSAN: A man was seriously injured after a mixer-grinder exploded at a courier shop at Kuvempunagar Layout in Hassan on Monday.
The injured man has been identified as Shashi. On Monday, a customer returned a mixer-grinder parcel to the office. While testing the mixer grinder, it exploded and damaged the whole office. Shashi was seriously injured and he was immediately admitted to a private hospital in the city.
The reason for the incident is not yet known. The incident occurred in Hassan Town police station limits, and the police visited the spot. Further investigation is under way.
