KOLAR: The additional district and sessions fast track court here has sentenced a man to four years in jail and imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 for sexually assaulting a minor girl. The convicted is Siraj Pasha, a resident of Mulbagal.
The court also ordered Rs 2 lakh to be paid to the family of the victim as compensation. The incident occurred on January 22, 2024 and a case was registered at the women’s police station in Kolar. Police Inspector Shankarachari had filed the chargesheet.
