BIDAR: A man has been accused of raping his 12-year-old daughter over the last one year and threatening her not to disclose about it to anyone. He has now been arrested under the POCSO Act and sent to judicial custody.
The accused used to regularly assault his daughter sexually at night when everyone else was sleeping. He had even threatened of killing her if she disclosed about it to anyone. He was caught redhanded by the young girl’s grandmother after which the sexual assault came to light.
The Basavakalyan Town police have registered a case under the POCSO Act and arrested the accused. He was produced before a court and remanded to judicial custody.
