MADIKERI: An altercation during a party escalated with one person opening fire at a businessman in Kushalnagar on Sunday night. The businessman sustained a bullet wound in the leg, but is out of danger.
Anudeep a.k.a. Dummi and K S Shashikumar Gowda got into an argument during a party and the former opened several rounds of fire at the businessman’s SUV. One of the bullets hit Shashikumar in the leg while the SUV was riddled with bullet marks. Shashikumar was shifted to Mysuru for treatment.
Soon after the shooting, Anudeep fled the scene and has gone into hiding. The incident occurred at Gummanakolli in Chowdeshwari Extension in Kushalnagar. The police have launched a search for him.
