BENGALURU: A man allegedly murdered his uncle over a family issue at Himalaya Dhaba in Soladevanahalli in the city on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Keshavamurthy and the accused has been identified as Bharath. One person who was injured, identified as Kallesh, has been admitted to a hospital.
Keshavamurthy is Bharath’s uncle. He had left his wife and had not returned home for many days. On Saturday night, Bharat called Keshavamurthy to talk about the issue and Keshavamurthy went to meet Bharath along with his friend Kallesh. They were drinking alcohol together when they got into an argument over the issue and Bharath stabbed Keshavamurthy and his friend Kallesh. Keshavamurthy died on the spot, while Kallesh’s condition is critical.
A case has been registered at Soladevanahalli police station and further investigation is under way.
