BENGALURU: A man named has been arrested for murdering the husband of his lover. The accused and the wife of the victim were in a relationship and the latter’s objections had led to the violent confrontation.
The accused Basudev and victim Sunil Kumar’s wife had been having an affair, and Sunil Kumar had found out about it. He had warned the pair to stop their relationship, but they didn’t listen. A few days ago, Basudev called Sunil Kumar and asked him to meet up for a drink. Sunil Kumar agreed, and they met at a spot.
Basudev got Sunil Kumar drunk and then stabbed him to death. He then stuffed the body into a sack and dumped it in a deserted area near Bommasandra.The police investigation led to Basudev’s arrest, and he’s now being questioned. A case has been registered at Hebbagodi police station and further investigation is under way.
