Man murders wife’s paramour over illicit affair, arrested

BENGALURU: A drunk man killed his friend with a knife as the latter allegedly had an illicit relationship with his wife. The incident took place in the jurisdiction of the Varthur police station.

The victim has been identified as Kishore, who hailed from Chitradurga. The accused, Satish Reddy, was arrested by the police.

The incident took place around 7.30 pm on Friday. Satish Reddy and Kishore were friends, but Satish suspected Kishore of having an illicit relationship with his wife. In a fit of rage, Satish Reddy stabbed Kishore to death with a knife while they were under the influence of alcohol.

The police have registered a case at the Varthur police station.
