BENGALURU: A man was murdered after a bar fight over a trivial reason within the jurisdiction of Chikkajala police station. The deceased has been identified as Narayana Swamy (55). The accused Munivenkatappa’s son Ajay has been arrested.
On November 11, Munivenkatappa and Narayana Swamy had been drinking at a bar and were quarreling when the latter assaulted the former.
In a fit of anger, Munivenkatappa’s son attacked Narayana Swamy, seriously injuring him. Narayana Swamy was admitted to the hospital, but the treatment was not successful and he died on Sunday.
The Chikkajala police have registered a murder case in connection with the incident.
