BALLARI: A man murdered his wife, suspecting her character, by slitting her stomach with a sickle on his farm land at Jigenagalli village in Sandur talukon Thursday night.
The deceased woman was identified as Rekha Kumaraswamy. Her husband Kumaraswamy is absconding now. Kumaraswamy was married to Rekha 12 years ago and the couple has five children.
A case has been registered at Choranur police station in Sandur taluk.
