KOLAR: A man, accused of killing a Class 9 student, and admitted to hospital after attempting suicide, again attempted suicide at the hospital this morning.
Nitin attempted suicide twice after killing his minor girlfriend in Anugondahalli police limits of Hoskote taluk of Bangalore rural district. He is a resident of Dommalur village in Malur taluk of Kolar district.
On February 7, he stabbed his alleged minor girlfriend to death near Barahalli in Hoskote taluk with a knife as she did not accept his proposal. he then tried to commit suicide by slitting his throat and was rushed to hospital.
Today, Nitin, who is still recovering after throat surgery, attempted suicide again by jumping off the second floor of the R L Jalappa hospital. It is said that he became mentally depressed after killing his girlfriend and decided to commit suicide again.
This morning, he came out for a walk in the corridor of the hospital he tried to commit suicide. He is seriously injured and being treated in the ICU. The Gulpet police visited the hospital and registered a case.
