HASSAN: A young man was brutally killed in Sooranahalli village in Holenarasipur taluk after he asked a car driver to slow down. The deceased was identified as Manu (27) while three others, three others, including Abhishek, Rakesh, and Kushal, sustained injuries.
An unidentified person drove his car (KA-01-MF-2883) over the group, killing one person and injuring three. The incident occurred around midnight on Tuesday when Manu, Abhishek, and two others were talking on the road. They asked the driver, who was speeding, to slow down, but instead, he turned the car around and drove into the group.
Manu died on the spot, while the others were injured. The accused fled the scene. The Holenarsipur Urban police visited the hospital and have launched a hunt for the car driver after registering a case.
