BENGALURU: A man, who was kidnapped from near Karpoorahalli Railway Gate in Anekal on Sunday night was found murdered near Denkanikottai in Tamil Nadu on Monday.
The kidnappers had taken Gopal from Anekal, and his family had registered a case with the police. The family had been waiting at the police station since Sunday night, demanding action.
Bengaluru Rural SP Chandrakanth has formed eight teams to track down the accused. However, the family is angry with the police, alleging inaction and claiming that the accused are being shielded.
The situation is tense, with the family protesting outside the police station and blocking the road. They are demanding justice and want the accused to be brought to the scene.
The accused include a real estate businessman named Mohan Babu, who is allegedly involved in the crime. The family claims that Mohan Babu had a connection with Gopal, and they protested outside his house. The police, led by Bengaluru Rural SP, were trying to calm the family, The SP also tried to convince the family to give up the protest.
The family is adamant and wants the accused to be brought to justice. The situation is volatile, with the family throwing stones and clashing with the police.
In another case, a man was brutally killed in Gollahalli Gutte near Anekal, allegedly over a dispute that started while drinking. The victim, identified as Tilak alias Gudde, was hit on the head with a stone and beaten to death with a stick.
The incident occurred near Gollahalli Gutte under the jurisdiction of Bannerghatta police station. The motive behind the killing is suspected to be related to a girl.
The accused have fled the scene, and police have launched a manhunt. Forensic experts have collected evidence, and further investigation is under way. A case has been registered at Bannerghatta police station.
