Man jumps off train passing over bridge in Bengaluru, survives with injuries

BENGALURU: An unidentified man jumped off a moving train from a 25-30 feet high railway bridge near the Sheshadripuram area and suffered severe injuries and is now battling for life.

The man suffering severe injuries to the back and right leg, it is suspected that the person was under the influence of alcohol when jumping. The injured person was shifted to Victoria Hospital by traffic police and local law enforcement.

According to eyewitnesses, the person jumped off the train near the Sheshadripuram railway bridge when the train was moving towards Majestic. Fortunately, there were no vehicles passing underneath the bridge at that time. The person’s name and address have not been identified yet.
