CHIKKAMAGALUR: A man who was on his way from Bengaluru to Dharmastala with 12 others in a passenger van, died in the toilet at the Kottigehara bus stand after suffering a heart attack on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Madhusudhan (52), a resident of Kalasipalya.
Madhusudhan and 12 of his friends were travelling in a Tempo Traveller when they stopped at the Kottigehara bus stand to use the toilet. Madhusudhan collapsed inside the toilet after suffering a heart attack.
Madhusudha’s companions and other locals then to a hospital at Banakal in social worker Arif’s ambulance, but he had breathed his last. The Banakal police have registered a case.
