BAGALKOT: A man declared dead in Jamakhandi surprisingly regained consciousness and spoke, leaving everyone stunned.

Mubarak Awati (65), a resident of Momin Gali in Jamakhandi, was admitted to KLE Hospital in Belagavi due to illness. Doctors declared him dead and his family took his body to their village for the funeral. However, on the way, Mubarak suddenly started breathing and spoke, shocking his family members who thought he was dead. The incident occurred near Lokapur, when the vehicle carrying his body hit a speed breaker.

Mubarak was initially treated at the Jamakhandi government hospital and later shifted to a private hospital in Vijayapura for further treatment. The incident has sparked a huge speculation in the area, with thousands gathering at the scene upon hearing the news.

According to family members, Mubarak was on a ventilator at KLE Hospital, and doctors had advised taking him off it, saying he wouldn’t survive. They claim he took a breath when the vehicle hit the road breaker. The incident has left everyone stunned and people are flocking to see the man who “came back from the dead”.
