HASSAN: A man was crushed under a moving train near the city bus stand here on Sunday night. Locals who witnessed the incident rushed to help, but the man died while being taken to safety.
The identity of the deceased had not been established. Railway and Extension police arrived at the scene and sent the body for post-mortem examination. The incident is being investigated by the Railway police station.
