TUMAKURU: A 34-year-old man committed suicide after he suffered financial losses in online rummy gambling games at Madapatna village in Turuvekere taluk on Sunday.
The deceased Manjunath was a dairy farmer and had got addicted to online gambling. He invested all his income into online gambling and also borrowed money from his friends. However, he could not repay the debts and, upset over this, he committed suicide.
A case has been registered at the Dandinashivara police station.
