DHARWAD: A man died after he came under the rear wheels of a moving bus at the new bus stand here on Monday evening. The identity of the deceased was yet to be established.
Initially, the traffic police believed that the bus had run over the man, but on checking CCTV footage from the bus stand, it was revealed that he had deliberately come under the bus.
The police have now come to the conclusion that the unidentified man may have committed suicide and are making efforts to establish his identity. A case has been registered at the Dharwad Suburban police station.
