Man caught with stolen autorickshaw while driving recklessly

BENGALURU: The JJ Nagar police caught a man with a stolen autorickshaw while he was driving it recklessly. The accused was identified as Thoushid Pasha (21) .

On January 9, Thoushid was stopped by PSI Kumar and head constable Karim Saab for checking while he was driving recklessly on the road. When asked for the autorickshaw’s registration, Thoushid claimed he didn’t have it.

Upon investigation using the MCCTNS app, it was discovered that the autorickshaw was stolen. A case had been filed, and the owner, Rajesh, had also lodged a complaint.

Thoushid admitted to stealing the autorickshaw near Halasuru Gate Market around 5 pm pm that, and the act was also captured on CCTV camera. Thoushid had been arrested in two other cases. The JJ Nagar police have registered a case and are investigating further.
