Man catches leopard by its tail during rescue operation in Tumakuru

TUMAKUR: A man caught a leopard by its tail and trapped it in a net at Rangapura village in Tiptur taluk. A video clip is now going viral on social media and the man has garnered huge appreciation for his guts.

A five-year-old leopard was spotted around Rangapura village for several days, causing fear among the villagers. On Tuesday, the leopard was seen near Kumar’s house on Puralehalli Road. The Forest Department officials were informed, and they arrived with the necessary equipment to catch the leopard.

The leopard was in panic and trying to escape when people surrounded the animal to catch ti. However, before it could run away, Anand caught the leopard by its tail, pulled it and bundled it in a net with the help of Forest Department officials.

The Forest officials themselves were shocked to see the man catching the leopard. The villagers praised Anand’s bravery and daring act.
