BENGALURU: The Vyalikaval police have arrested three people, including a former boyfriend of a woman, for stabbing her present boyfriend. The arrested are Yatish, Harsha and another individual.
Yatish had stabbed his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend Chandan near a tonga stand in Vyalikaval police station area on Friday night.
Chandan was in a relationship with a woman who had previously been in a relationship with Yatish. When Yatish found out that the woman was in love with Chandan, he called Chandan for a chat when he and his associates allegedly stabbed Chandan with a knife and escaped.
After the incident, Chandan, who was lying in a pool of blood, called his friends and informed them about the incident. His friends rushed to the place, rescued him and admitted him to a private hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment in the ICU in serious condition.
The Vyalikaval police have registered an FIR and have taken up further investigation.
