UDUPI: The Udupi police have arrested a man hailing from Gujarat for his involvement in a case of leaking sensitive information to Pakistan. The arrested Hirendra (34), was allegedly providing mobile SIM cards to two people who were sending classified data about Indian ships to Pakistan.
Earlier, two others were arrested from Cochin Shipyard, where they worked. Rohit and Santri, both from Uttar Pradesh, were caught by Malpe police on November 21. They were subcontractors at the shipyard. The arrests followed suspicions raised by shipyard officials, who alerted the Malpe police.
