RAICHUR: A man was arrested for killing his two children after suspecting his wife’s alleged extramarital affair, at Jakleradoddi in Devadurga taluk on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Shivaraj (5) and Raghavendra (3). The accused Linganna worked as a daily-wage labourer. He and his wife had been on good terms since their marriage, but for the past three months, Linganna suspected her of having an extramarital affair with a distant relative. The couple fought over this and started living separately.
On Sunday morning, after fighting with his wife, he took his children along with him and strangled them to death. A case has been registered at the Devadurga police station and further investigation is under way.
