BIDAR: The Chitaguppa police arrested a man and seized Rs. 17,250 worth of cannabis plants grown on his sugarcane farm located at Kattalli village in Chitaguppa taluk on Wednesday.
The police, led by Inspector Mahendra Kumar, conducted a raid based on a tip-off and arrested Dasharath Saibanna for allegedly growing cannabis plants. He was produced before a court and sent to judicial custody.
A case has been registered at Chitaguppa police station.
