BENGALURU: The police have arrested a man for allegedly cheating a woman in Kadugodi, with the promise of marrying her. Instead, he started blackmailing her for money using her private videos.
The accused Srinivas was arrested based on the woman’s complaint and are further investigation is on.
After the woman gave him her gold jewellery and money, Srinivas continued to threaten her by calling her brother and saying that he would send the videos to him also. He also created a fake Facebook account in the woman’s name to share the private videos, the complaint said.
