KOLAR: A man was arrested for illegally carrying weapons in a car, near Narasapura on Monday. The arrested is Obalesh of Gundlahalli in Chintamani taluk.
The Vemgal police intercepted the car when Obalesh was moving around suspiciously and upon checking, they found a sword, a countrymade gun and eight live rounds of ammunition inside the vehicle.
Police said that Obalesh had a running fued with one Yeduradara Mani over a property in Puttenahalli village and had planned to attack him. The Vemgal police have arrested Obalesh and registered a case.
