MANGALURU: Mahesh Shetty Thimarodi, a resident of Ujire near Mangaluru, has been externed from Dakshina Kannada district to Manvi taluk in Raichur district for a period of one year. The order was passed by Assistant Commissioner Stella Verghese on September 20.
Mahesh Thimarodi has around 32 cases registered against him, including giving shelter to Chinnaiah, the complainant in the Dharmasthala alleged mass burial case, who is now under arrest.
The externment is for a period of one year, during which Mahesh Thimarodi will have to stay in Manvi taluk of Raichur district. He will not be allowed to enter Dakshina Kannada district during this period.
