MADIKERI: A Madikeri court has restored the property of an aged couple from their daughter under the Senior Citizens Protection Act of 2007
The aged woman B S Janaki, a resident of Bolluru village in Kushalanagar taluk had given 15 cents of land to her second daughter Jayalakshmi. But Jayalakshmi neglected her mother and did not take care of her.
Janaki complained to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate in this regard. Sub-Divisional magistrate Yatish Ullal, who conducted an inquiry on the property dispute, passed an order restoring the property to the woman from her daughter.
