RAICHUR: A couple committed suicide by throwing themselves in front of a train on Sunday near Krishna Railway Station.
The deceased have been identified as Shivakumar (26) and Anitha (17), residents of Yemmiganur in Andhra Pradesh. The two were said to be in love, but the reason for the suicide is not yet known.
A case has been registered at the Raichur Railway Police Station. The police visited the spot and further investigation is under way.
