BENGALURU: The Sanjay Nagar police have arrested a delivery agent accused of murdering a youth after a fight over the girl. The incident occurred on September 2.
Vineesh has been accused of murdering Varun. Varun and Vineesh, both from Udupi, worked in Bengaluru. While Vineesh worked as a delivery agent in Koramangala, Varun was employed with a private company.
Police suspected that the fight between two friends in a suspected love triangle ended in the murder of one of them. Both Vineesh and Varun were in love with the same girl, a childhood friend. Recently, the girl became very close to Varun, which angered Vineesh. He killed Varun as he couldn’t bear the thought of losing the girl to Varun.
During interrogation, Vineesh admitted to the crime and said that Varun had hypnotized the girl and controlled her. Vineesh feared losing her and killed him. Before the murder, Vineesh asked the girl if she was truly in love with Varun, and she also admitted that she was in love with Varun and was willing to marry him.
