CHITRADURGA: The Lokayukta police on Saturday raided the residence of retired Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Rajanna at Challakere town in the district. The police scrutined documents and searched the house.
The raid follows the discovery of Rs 45 lakh in cash at the house of Forest Department attender Gopal in Bengaluru two days ago. The raid on the retired official’s house was conducted based information that the cash stash belonged to him.
