BENGALURU: The Lokayukta police on Wednesday raided five premises linked to Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) survey supervisor Venkatesh and unearthed disproportionate assets worth Rs 1.53 crore.
The Lokayukta police raided Venkatesh’s house, office and residences of his relatives. The raids uncovered disproportionate assets which included immovable assets worth Rs 90.77 lakh including seven plots, one residential house, and 6 acres 20 guntas of agricultural land and movable assets worth Rs 62.82 lakh including Rs 2,000 cash, Rs 29 lakh worth of gold jewellery, vehicles worth Rs 32.40 lakh and Rs 1.4 lakh in bank deposits.
The total disproportionate assets amount to Rs 1.53 crore. Lokayukta officials are continuing their investigation.
