NEW DELH: Veteran Bharatiya Janata Party leader Lal Krishna Advani has been discharged from the Apollo Hospital where he was admitted last night.
The 96-year-old leader was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Sarita Vihar at 9 pm and was under observation of Dr Vinit Suri.
Earlier, the BJP leader was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi on June 26 and discharged after a night-long stay at the medical institute.
Advani served as Deputy Prime Minister in the NDA government led by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee from 2002 to 2004. He was conferred Bharat Ratna by President Droupadi Murmu in March this year. (ANI)
