BENGALURU: A couple originally from Odisha, who were in a live-in relationship, were found dead in their house at Kallubalu in Anekal taluk. It is suspected that they committed suicide two days ago.

The deceased have been identified as Seema Nayak (25) and Rakesh Patra (23). They had been living together for some time. The door was not opened for two days, raising suspicion among neighbours. They broke the window glass and found the couple dead.

The police were informed, and Additional SP Venkatesh Prasanna, Deputy SP Mohan Kumar, and Inspector Manjunath visited the spot. Rakesh was reportedly violent when drunk and had frequent quarrels with Seema over money.

On Sunday, Rakesh had another quarrel with Seema over money and went to sleep. The next morning, Seema found Rakesh hanging. After noticing that, she tried to save him by cutting the rope, but he was dead. She then also hanged herself.
