MANDYA: A lineman of the Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Company (CESC) died after an electricity pole fell on him at Halasahalli village in Malavalli taluk on Monday. The lineman was working at the time when the incident occurred.
The deceased was identified as Kumar (31) of Kulumedoddi village. He was rushed to a hospital, but did not survive, The incident occurred when the power utility staff were installing an electricity police. The incident occurred in Halagur police limits.
