Leopard shows up near Bannerghatta, Forest Department continues search

BENGALURU: With the leopard scare continuing in the city, Forest Department officials are on high alert after the locals informed them about the appearance of an animal in Bannerghatta on Tuesday.

A leopard was spotted in Bannerghatta.

Officials are continuing their combing operations in the Turahalli forest and Kengeri area. In the CCTV footage, a leopard was spotted in the parking lot of a house. The leopard can also be seen crossing the road at midnight.

The Forest officials suspected that the leopard spotted at the Turahalli forest near Kengeri might be the same one and may have changed its path and gone towards Bannerghatta.

The residents of Bannerghatta are anxious after they spotted the leopard. Though the Forest Department has been trying to catch the animal for the last few days, it has been unsuccessful. They also expressed their helplessness.
